In year 6 our topic is Global Warming.
Here is what Global Warming is all about… Global Warming is when too much carbon dioxide, water vapour, methane and ozone is given off and damages the World’s atmosphere. Carbon dioxide, water vapour, methane and ozone are green house gasses. They are called this because they are warm just like the inside of a green house.
The effects of Global Warming are, when these gasses get trapped inside the Earth, it causes some ponds and puddles to dry up and the animals will have no water to drink. Also, it may cause icy places to melt such as Antarctica. This could lead to devastating things.
I hope you learned all of the interesting facts about Global Warming!
