100 Word Challenge Caitlin5B

When the clock striked two, I was happy one more hour of the day left then I would be sipping hot chocolate by the fire and it was piano classes in that time. Piano, my favourite. As I daydreamed, time quickly zoomed by. Before my eyes, the clock showed 14:05. I didn’t want to be suspended so I rushed to the other side of the school. I could already hear the icy, accurate noises coming from the music room. The notes from the piano relaxed me and I soon, and I mean seriously soon, I was humming along to the song.

  1. Caitlin,
I absolutely love the tone of this piece. It is as if the character was really daydreaming, musing. This is a very mature writing, and you did a fine job for this 100WC. Great variety of sentences, nice descriptions. Keep up the great work! (English Teacher, Ocean City, NJ, USA)
