Year 6 Topic: “What is photosynthesis?”

Photosynthesis is a process used by plants which use sunlight, carbon dioxide and clorophyll and releases oxygen as a waste product.In greek photo means “light” and synthesis means “putting together”.Although photosynthesis can happen in many different species, some features are always the same.

Did you know that a plant can capture about 130 terawatts, which is six times larger than we use!!!
